There are many attractions on the English Riviera (Torquay, Paignton and Brixham).  There is plenty to see for a full day out in the Babbacombe area and just a short distance from the Model Village

The St. Marychurch Shopping Precinct has a selection of small unique shops.

Why not visit the Babbacombe Downs and Oddicombe Beach. The views are stunning, you can relax on the green and on a clear day see along the coast as far as Dorset. On the downs there are a wide selection of inns, bars and restaurants along with the Babbacombe Theatre.

You can take a nostalgic ride on the famous, recently renovated, Cliff Railway which takes you from the downs to the Oddicombe beach. For more details visit http://www.friendsofbabbacombecliffrailway.org.uk/

All are just a short walk from the Model Village and accessed from the same car park (see map under "how to find us").

Remember, if it has been a hot sunny day, after spending the day on the beach you can visit the Model Village in the evening. We are open most summer evenings until 9.30pm (last admission)
